Hoptown Hoppers wins contest against Muhlenberg County Stallions, 6-1

Hoptown Hoppers got on the board in the first inning when Jojo Cruz grounded out, scoring one run.

Jackson Lyons was credited with the victory for Hoptown Hoppers. The righty lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out four and walking zero. Riley Garczynski threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Nick Casey took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The right-hander lasted five and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and five runs while striking out one and walking one.

Hoptown Hoppers socked one home run on the day. Landon Choboy had a homer in the second inning.

Hoptown Hoppers had 11 hits in the game. Choboy, Alex Gonzales, Noah Brown, and Jake Parr all managed multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Parr, Brown, Gonzales, and Choboy all had two hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers. Hoptown Hoppers didn't commit a single error in the field. Parr had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.

Brandon Scheurer led Muhlenberg County Stallions with two hits in four at-bats.
