Hoptown Hoppers Outdone By Muhlenberg County Stallions, 7-2

Hoptown Hoppers fired up the offense in the second inning, when Kurt Paldino singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Muhlenberg County Stallions pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Nick Lucido singled on a 2-2 count, scoring one run and Jackson Lyons induced Bentley Boekhout to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Muhlenberg County Stallions scored five runs in the seventh inning. Mason Lundgrin and Brandon Scheurer each had RBIs in the frame.

Dalton Cameron earned the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Cameron surrendered one run on six hits over eight innings, striking out nine and walking one. Nathan McKissick threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Lyons took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The righty surrendered two runs on five hits over six innings, striking out five.

Benjamin (B.J.) Banyon led Hoptown Hoppers with two hits in four at bats.

Muhlenberg County Stallions scattered ten hits in the game. Lucido, Scheurer, and Lundgrin each managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions.
