In the only game played on Sunday night, the Flash scored 10 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to blow the game open against the Miners at Park Field. The run explosion led to a 18-5 win under the 10-Run Mercy Rule the following inning. The game was originally scheduled for Saturday night, July 11, but was rescheduled to Sunday to avoid weather in Henderson on Saturday night.

The win extends the Flash (23-9) lead in the standings to 1.5 games over the second place Hoppers (20-9), whose game Saturday night against the Chiefs was rained out and could not be rescheduled for Sunday due to weather and field conditions in Hopkinsville.
