Full Count Rhythm Firing On All Cylinders In Game 1 Against Fulton Railroaders

Full Count Rhythm won big over Fulton Railroaders 12-2 on Saturday at 131 Conway Twitty Lane. Full Count Rhythm got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Trace Simmons tripled, scoring two runs, and Charlie Bozeman singled, scoring one run.Full Count Rhythm added two runs in the third. Bozeman singled down the left field line, making the score 5-0.

 

Tate Riggs earned the win for Full Count Rhythm. The starting pitcher surrendered four hits and one run over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Zander Smith took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The starter went five innings, surrendering seven runs on nine hits, striking out one and walking four. Peyton Vaught pitched two innings of no-run ball for Full Count Rhythm in relief. The right-handed pitcher gave up two hits, striking out one and walking one.

 

Full Count Rhythm tallied 12 hits in the game. Devyn McEachron, Simmons, Nolan Sergeant, and Bozeman each collected two hits for Full Count Rhythm. Simmons, Sergeant, and Bozeman each drove in three runs for Full Count Rhythm. Jake Merrick paced Full Count Rhythm with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, collecting 10 walks for the game. Full Count Rhythm turned three double plays in the game.

 

Fulton Railroaders tallied nine hits in the game. Jacob Lott, Ellis Hurt, and Thomas Kuhn each collected two hits for Fulton Railroaders. Chris Henson and Hurt were tough to handle back-to-back in the lineup, as each drove in one run for Fulton Railroaders. Fulton Railroaders turned one double play in the game.

 

Full Count Rhythm will travel to Fulton Railroaders for Game 2 of the Championship series on Sunday.
