SEMIFINAL GAME THREE: Garner Anderson’s Big Day Propels Fulton Railroaders Past Madisonville Miners
Garner Anderson collected three hits in four at bats, as Fulton Railroaders defeated Madisonville Miners 7-2 on Wednesday at Elmer Kelley Stadum, Madisonville, KY. Anderson singled in the fourth inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the eighth inning.
Fulton Railroaders got on the board in the third inning after Jace Parnin induced Diego Duque to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.
Reid Harvey hit a solo home run to left field in the bottom of the fourth for the Madisonville Miners.
Carson Cochran started the game for Fulton Railroaders. The starting pitcher gave up eight hits and one run over six innings, striking out four and walking one. Parnin stepped on the mound first for Madisonville Miners. They surrendered five hits and four runs (one earned) over three and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking three. Emillo Duque appeared in relief for Fulton Railroaders.
