Brady Watts Leads Henderson Flash Past Madisonville Miners
Brady Watts struck out 11 batters as the right-handed pitcher led Henderson Flash past Madisonville Miners 5-2 on Thursday. Watts allowed two hits and zero runs over five innings while walking two.
Henderson Flash jumped out to the lead in the bottom of the first inning after Tyson LeBlanc doubled, scoring one run, Nate York hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, Taylor Head doubled, scoring two runs, and Ian Reagan singled, scoring one run.
Schon Pespisa took the loss for Madisonville Miners. They went three and one-third innings, surrendering five runs (zero earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking none. Pierce Herrenbruck collected the save. Aidan Mouton pitched one inning of zero-run ball for Henderson Flash in relief. The righty allowed zero hits, striking out two and walking none.
