Paducah Chiefs Victorious Over Hoptown Hoppers

Paducah Chiefs opened the scoring in the third after Ayden Terry hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run.

Hoptown Hoppers jumped back into the lead in the top of the fourth inning after Ruben Ogando walked, and Grant Snider hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

Paducah Chiefs took the lead in the bottom of the fifth. David Limbach homered to right field, scoring three runs, to give Paducah Chiefs the edge, 4-2.

Konner Myatt earned the win for Paducah Chiefs. They allowed six hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out two and walking one. Brayden Eftink took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The righty went six innings, giving up four runs on seven hits, striking out seven and walking one. Jack McLaury collected the save. Seth Harris appeared in relief for Paducah Chiefs.

Paducah Chiefs piled up 11 hits in the game. Limbach drove the middle of the lineup, leading Paducah Chiefs with three runs batted in. The cleanup hitter went 1-for-3 on the day. Leadoff hitter Will Gibbs led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in five at bats. Ben Brombaugh and Colin McClure each collected multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs.

Hoptown Hoppers collected nine hits in the game. Eftink, Kolby Webb, and John Kiebler each collected two hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Webb, Snider, and Ogando each drove in one run for Hoptown Hoppers. Hoptown Hoppers were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Hadley Smith made the most plays with 11.
