Paducah Chiefs Impressive In Win Against Fulton Railroaders

Paducah Chiefs got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Jaylon Johnson hit into a double play, Will Gibbs singled, and Parker Price grounded out, each scoring one run.

Paducah Chiefs added to their early lead in the bottom of the third inning after Ben Brombaugh walked, and Colin McClure grounded out, each scoring one run.

Connor Preisel earned the win for Paducah Chiefs. The left-handed pitcher allowed two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out five and walking none. Mitt Landers took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. The starting pitcher went three innings, allowing five runs on six hits, striking out none and walking two. Konner Myatt pitched two innings of shutout ball for Paducah Chiefs in relief. They gave up one hit, striking out three and walking none.

Paducah Chiefs tallied 11 hits in the game. Brombaugh, David Limbach, Danny Rollins, and McClure each collected two hits for Paducah Chiefs. Ayden Terry led Paducah Chiefs with two runs batted in. The second baseman went 1-for-2 on the day. Johnson stole two bases.

Mason Cook, Garrett Taylor, and Drake DeFreitas each collected one hit for Fulton Railroaders. Logan Croley led Fulton Railroaders with one run batted in.  Fulton Railroaders turned one double play in the game.
