Madisonville Miners rallied to top Paducah Chiefs 10-7 on Friday at Brooks Stadium. Madisonville Miners trailed by as many as six runs during the game.

Paducah Chiefs were the first to get on the board in the first when Brady Grabowski singled, scoring two runs.

Paducah Chiefs added one run in the second. Will Gibbs singled, making the score 3-1.

Gibbs hit a grand slam to left field in the bottom of the third for the Paducah Chiefs.

Madisonville Miners flipped the game on its head in the top of the fifth, scoring nine runs on seven hits to take a 10-7 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a double by Jace Parnin that drove in three.

Landon Cline began the game for Madisonville Miners. The starting pitcher gave up five hits and six runs over two and one-third innings, striking out one and walking four. Bryant Byrd stepped on the mound first for Paducah Chiefs. The right-handed pitcher gave up 10 hits and seven runs (six earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking three. Jacob Claiborne threw three innings of zero-run ball for Madisonville Miners in relief. The reliever surrendered zero hits, striking out none and walking none.

Madisonville Miners tallied 14 hits in the game. Parnin led Madisonville Miners with three runs batted in. The right-handed hitter went 2-for-4 on the day. Fred Fernandez led Madisonville Miners with three hits in five at bats. Brandon Gibson and Preston Bedford each collected multiple hits for Madisonville Miners. Madisonville Miners worked the count all day, accumulating six walks.

Gibbs led Paducah Chiefs with three hits in four at bats from the leadoff position. Parker Price collected two hits for Paducah Chiefs in five at bats. Paducah Chiefs turned one double play in the game.
