Chiefs Down Hoppers 15-2 in Second Game of the Night
Paducah Chiefs got on the board in the top of the first inning after David Limbach singled, scoring one run, Ben Brombaugh doubled, scoring one run, Luke Dymond singled, scoring two runs, Will Gibbs singled, scoring two runs, and Parker Price doubled, scoring one run.
Dalton Sisson started on the bump for Hoptown Hoppers. They allowed 10 hits and seven runs over three innings, striking out none and walking three. Joe Peca led things off on the bump for Paducah Chiefs. The southpaw surrendered two hits and zero runs over four innings, striking out six and walking five.
Gavin Lake, Jordan Gonzalez, Dom Davis, Kolby Webb, and Jacob Bly each collected one hit for Hoptown Hoppers. Webb and #33 each drove in one run for Hoptown Hoppers. Brayden Blevins paced Hoptown Hoppers with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game.
Paducah Chiefs collected 17 hits in the game. Dymond seized on their opportunities, leading Paducah Chiefs with four runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. The catcher went 4-for-5 on the day. Colin Mcclure, Brombaugh, Price, Gibbs, and Jack Mclaury each collected multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Paducah Chiefs had patience at the plate, collecting eight walks for the game. Nathan Lang and Kyle Hayes led the team with two walks each. Paducah Chiefs turned one double play in the game.
