Fulton Railroaders Defeated By Paducah Chiefs

A solo home run to right field by Parker Price put Paducah Chiefs on the board in the top of the first.

A home run to right field by Daniel Irizarry gave Fulton Railroaders the lead, 2-1, in the bottom of the first.

Paducah Chiefs captured the lead, 3-2, in the top of the fourth after Jaylon Johnson singled, and Danny Rollins lined out, each scoring one run.

Charlie Ferbet singled, which helped Fulton Railroaders tie the game at three in the bottom of the sixth.

A ground out by Ferbet gave Fulton Railroaders the lead, 4-3, in the bottom of the eighth.

Colin Mcclure grounded out, which helped Paducah Chiefs tie the game at four in the top of the ninth.

Paducah Chiefs flipped the game on its head in the top of the tenth, scoring five runs on three hits to take a 9-4 lead. The biggest blow in the inning was a home run to right field by Kyle Hayes that drove in three.

Jaythan Wilson earned the win for Paducah Chiefs. The reliever surrendered one hit and zero runs over two innings, striking out three and walking none. Erich Radzinski took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. They went one-third of an inning, giving up two runs on two hits, striking out none and walking none. Mitt Landers stepped on the hill first for Fulton Railroaders. They allowed eight hits and three runs over six innings, striking out four and walking three. Hayden Alexander began the game for Paducah Chiefs. The lefty surrendered six hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out eight and walking one.

Fulton Railroaders accumulated nine hits in the game. Leadoff hitter Garner Anderson led Fulton Railroaders with three hits in five at bats. Irizarry and Ferbet were a one-two punch in the lineup, as each drove in two runs for Fulton Railroaders. Fulton Railroaders turned one double play in the game.

Paducah Chiefs collected 12 hits in the game. Hayes provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Paducah Chiefs with three runs batted in. They went 1-for-5 on the day. Price led Paducah Chiefs with four hits in six at bats. Will Gibbs collected two hits for Paducah Chiefs in five at bats. David Limbach led Paducah Chiefs with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game. Paducah Chiefs ran wild on the base paths, tallying four stolen bases for the game. Paducah Chiefs turned one double play in the game. Paducah Chiefs were sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Rollins made the most plays with 11.
