Henderson Flash Walk It Off Against Paducah Chiefs

Paducah Chiefs got on the board in the first inning after a dropped third strike scored one run.

Paducah Chiefs added to their early lead in the top of the third inning after Kyle Hayes singled, and Paducah Chiefs scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Paducah Chiefs committed an error, which helped Henderson Flash tie the game at four in the bottom of the eighth.

Dylan Turner earned the win for Henderson Flash. They surrendered one hit and zero runs over four and one-third innings, striking out two and walking one. Ayden Terry took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The righty went two and one-third innings, giving up four runs (two earned) on four hits, striking out two and walking two. Kiefer Parsons led things off on the bump for Henderson Flash. The left-handed pitcher surrendered one hit and three runs (two earned) over two and two-thirds innings, striking out seven and walking four. Jack Mclaury led things off on the bump for Paducah Chiefs. The right-handed pitcher gave up one hit and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking one. Brady Watts appeared in relief for Henderson Flash.

Henderson Flash accumulated 10 hits in the game. Reagan drove the middle of the lineup, leading Henderson Flash with two runs batted in. They went 2-for-5 on the day. Reagan, Dane DeWees, and Nate York each collected two hits for Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash had patience at the plate, tallying six walks for the game. Wyatt Bowling and Logan Lacey led the team with two free passes each. DeWees and Taylor Head each stole multiple bases for Henderson Flash. Henderson Flash stole seven bases in the game. Henderson Flash didn't commit a single error in the field. Amir Gray had the most chances in the field with 11.

Hayes led Paducah Chiefs with two hits in three at bats. Ben Brombaugh, Hayes, and David Limbach each drove in one run for Paducah Chiefs. Hayes paced Paducah Chiefs with two walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying seven walks for the game.

Henderson Flash will travel to Fulton Railroaders for their next game on Friday. Paducah gets the night off on Friday.
