Hoptown Hoppers Hold Off Henderson Flash For Victory
Henderson Flash closed the gap by scoring on a double, a fielder's choice, an error, a fielder's choice, and a ground out.
Hoptown Hoppers got on the board in the bottom of the second inning after Henderson Flash committed an error, and John Kiebler grounded out, each scoring two runs.
Braden Canaan began the game for Hoptown Hoppers. The right-handed pitcher gave up six hits and three runs (two earned) over four and two-thirds innings, striking out none and walking two. Zach Lawson started on the hill for Henderson Flash. The righty gave up two hits and four runs (zero earned) over three innings, striking out four and walking one.
