Henderson Flash's effort to come back from down four runs in the eighth inning came up just short, as they fell 8-7 to Full Count Rhythm on Sunday. Henderson Flash scored three runs in the failed comeback on a single by Jacob Lester and a single by Logan Lacey.

Henderson Flash was right in it until Full Count Rhythm in the sixth inning.

In the first inning, Full Count Rhythm got their offense started when Jackson Cauthron grounded out, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the fifth inning, Henderson Flash tied things up at three. Nathan Brewer drove in one when Brewer singled.

Full Count Rhythm pulled away for good with three runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth an error scored one run for Full Count Rhythm and Cauthron's sac fly scored two runs for Full Count Rhythm.

Henderson Flash scored three runs in the eighth inning. Henderson Flash's big bats in the inning were led by singles by Lester and Lacey.

Jack Thompson was the winning pitcher for Full Count Rhythm. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing five runs on five hits and striking out two. Arren Hash threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen. Hash recorded the last four outs to earn the save for Full Count Rhythm.

Lucas Quezada took the loss for Henderson Flash. Quezada went one and two-thirds innings, allowing three runs on one hit, striking out one and walking one.

Jackson Underwood started the game for Full Count Rhythm. The righty lasted four innings, allowing five hits and two runs while striking out five and walking one Holton Compton started the game for Henderson Flash. The righty went two and a third innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out one and walking one

Henderson Flash collected 11 hits on the day. Lester, Caleb Niehaus, Lacey, and Brewer all had multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Lester led Henderson Flash with three hits in five at bats.

Full Count Rhythm collected eight hits. Drew Robertson and Henry Jackson all collected multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm. Robertson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Full Count Rhythm in hits.
