After Dubois County Bombers scored one run in the top of the seventh, Louisville Jockeys answered with one of their own. Dubois County Bombers scored when Reece Davis singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run. Louisville Jockeys then answered when Tavien Tigg threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Louisville Jockeys.
Dubois County Bombers pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. Houston High got the win for Dubois County Bombers. The righty surrendered three runs on four hits over five innings, striking out five and walking one. Kaleb Applebey and Tigg entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Tigg recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Dubois County Bombers.
