Fulton Railroaders Nabs Win Over Muhlenberg County Stallions Despite Early 3-Run Inning

Despite allowing three runs in the first inning, Fulton Railroaders defeated Muhlenberg County Stallions 9-5 on Saturday. The offensive firepower by Muhlenberg County Stallions was led by Tamden Webb-Tate and Brock Sisson, all sending runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Muhlenberg County Stallions got things started in the first inning. Webb-Tate was hit by a pitch, driving in a run.

Fulton Railroaders evened things up at three in the bottom of the third inning when Aiden Gibson doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with one run in the fourth inning. In the fourth Bennett Detrude singled on a 0-2 count, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders notched five runs in the fifth inning. Fulton Railroaders's big inning was driven by a single by Diego Dugue, a home run by Emery Wright, and an error on a ball put in play by Jimmy Manzella.

Jack Hagen was the winning pitcher for Fulton Railroaders. Hagen lasted five innings, allowing six hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Drew Davis, Giffen Paige, Kylon Stepter, and Logan Wilsker all securing outs and ultimately the victory. Stepter recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Fulton Railroaders.

Ciocacili took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The bulldog lasted four innings, allowing nine hits and nine runs while striking out three.

Fulton Railroaders hit one home run on the day. Wright went yard in the fifth inning.

Fulton Railroaders racked up ten hits on the day. Jackson Garrett, Tasso Foster, and Wright all had multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Wright, Foster, and Garrett each managed two hits to lead Fulton Railroaders. Fulton Railroaders didn't commit a single error in the field. Wright had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.
