Hoptown Hoppers Clinches Lead In Sixth Inning For Victory Over Paducah Chiefs
Hoptown Hoppers stole the lead late in the game in a 6-5 victory over Paducah Chiefs on Saturday. The game was tied at two with Hoptown Hoppers batting in the bottom of the sixth when Artem Logvinov singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
A four-run lead in the sixth inning was just enough for Hoptown Hoppers to hold off Paducah Chiefs for the victory. Paducah Chiefs scored three runs in the failed comeback on a double by Gunnar Bingham, a single by Christian Beal, and a error.
Hoptown Hoppers pulled away for good with four runs in the sixth inning. In the sixth Nate Boon threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Hoptown Hoppers and Stephen Bell singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Jaxon McTyre and Myles Green entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. McTyre recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Hoptown Hoppers.
