Dubois County Bombers's effort to come back from down four runs in the fifth inning came up just short, as they fell 4-3 to Henderson Flash on Sunday. Dubois County Bombers tallied three runs in the failed comeback. Drew Howard and Carter Whitehead fueled the rally with RBIs.

Dubois County Bombers fell behind early in the loss. Henderson Flash scored on a single by Collin Helms and a single by Luke Scales in the second inning.

Henderson Flash got things started in the second inning. Helms singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Josh Kuhns earned the victory on the hill for Henderson Flash. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out four. Holton Compton, Luke Whaley, and Matthew Ray all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory. Ray recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Stone Silver took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. The righthander went four innings, allowing three runs on four hits, striking out three and walking zero.
