Henderson Flash Can't Quite Erase 4-Run Deficit In Loss To Full Count Rhythm

Henderson Flash's effort to come back from down four runs in the fifth inning came up just short, as they fell 5-4 to Full Count Rhythm on Friday. Henderson Flash scored three runs in the failed comeback on a single by Brady Morse, a double by Caleb Niehaus, and a error.

Full Count Rhythm got things moving in the first inning, when Logan Harrell singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

In the bottom of the first inning, Henderson Flash tied things up at one. An error scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Full Count Rhythm pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Harrell singled on a 1-0 count, scoring one run and Josh Seiler singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Henderson Flash put up three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Morse, an error on a ball put in play by Ellis Hurt, and a double by Niehaus.

Jonah Smithson was credited with the victory for Full Count Rhythm. The pitcher went five and a third innings, allowing three runs on three hits and striking out six. Luke Elmore threw one and two-thirds innings in relief out of the bullpen. Elmore recorded the last five outs to earn the save for Full Count Rhythm.

Will Juday took the loss for Henderson Flash. Juday surrendered three runs on six hits over three innings, striking out three and walking one.

Nathan Brewer, Clay Patton, Morse, Collin Helms, and Niehaus each collected one hit to lead Henderson Flash.

Full Count Rhythm saw the ball well today, racking up 11 hits in the game. Harrell, Ethan Huddleston, and Cooper Holbrook each managed multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm.
