An early lead helped Full Count Rhythm defeat Paducah Chiefs 9-1 on Wednesday. Full Count Rhythm scored on a groundout by Reece Holbrook in the first inning, a walk by Zeb Burns in the second inning, a walk by Levi Perrell in the second inning, a walk by Drew Robertson in the second inning, and a single by Jackson Cauthron in the second inning.

Full Count Rhythm secured the victory thanks to five runs in the second inning. Burns, Perrell, Robertson, and Cauthron each drove in runs during the inning.

In the bottom of the first inning, Full Count Rhythm tied things up at one. Holbrook grounded out, scoring one run.

Full Count Rhythm pulled away for good with five runs in the second inning. In the second Burns drew a walk, scoring one run, Perrell drew a walk, scoring one run, Robertson drew a walk, scoring one run, and Cauthron singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring two runs.

Spencer Wilkins was the winning pitcher for Full Count Rhythm. Wilkins surrendered one run on one hit over five innings, striking out eight. Tyler Cruse threw four innings in relief out of the bullpen. Cruse recorded the last 12 outs to earn the save for Full Count Rhythm.

Jake Gothrup took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The bulldog surrendered six runs on two hits over one and one-third innings, striking out two.

Full Count Rhythm tallied seven hits in the game. Cauthron, Robertson, and Caleb Nix all collected multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm. Nix, Robertson, and Cauthron each collected two hits to lead Full Count Rhythm.
