Muhlenberg County Stallions watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 7-5 loss to Owensboro RiverDawgs on Thursday. Owensboro RiverDawgs scored on a single by Jacob White and a single by Ethan Plyer in the second inning.

Owensboro RiverDawgs pulled away for good with three runs in the second inning. In the second White singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Plyer singled on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.

Brayden Bush pitched Owensboro RiverDawgs to victory. The bulldog surrendered three runs on three hits over six innings, striking out seven. Preston Cottrell and Tyler McClure entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. McClure recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Isaac Rose took the loss for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The southpaw went three and two-thirds innings, allowing six runs on five hits and striking out seven.

Mack Clark led Muhlenberg County Stallions with two hits in five at-bats.

Myles Beale went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs in hits.
