Tonight's matchup between the Muhlenberg County Stallions and the Madisonville has been forfeited due to the use of an ineligible player. The ineligible player was used in the game after not initially being reported to the Umpire-In-Chief as a member of the 27-man game-day roster. The OVL ByLaws specifically address the use of an ineligible player in Article 18 Section 5 paragraph B, which states:

"Any championship (regular season) game, which any player not previously registered with the League President or the Umpire-In-Chief as an active player prior to the game, and competes, shall be forfeited by a score of 9-0 to the team against which the ineligible player shall be charged with a loss."

Therefore, Muhlenberg County will be charged with the loss and Madisonville will be credited with a win. The ineligible player will not be credited with his stats, however, all other player's stats will remain unchanged. For more information, please contact us.
