Paducah Chiefs fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 13-8 loss to Fulton Railroaders on Saturday. Fulton Railroaders scored on a single by Braxton Baird, a single by Tennessee Carranza, and a sacrifice fly by Jacob Cekander in the second inning.

Despite the loss, Paducah Chiefs did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Fulton Railroaders had 15 hits on the way to victory.

Fulton Railroaders got things moving in the second inning. Fulton Railroaders scored one run when Baird singled.

Sam Poindexter was on the pitcher's mound for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out three.

Corbin Guthman was on the hill for Paducah Chiefs. The right-hander surrendered eight runs on eight hits over five and two-thirds innings, striking out three. Jack Bell and Jonathan Barnes entered the game as relief, throwing two innings and one and one-third innings respectively.

Paducah Chiefs had ten hits in the game. Colby Morse, Tucker Love, Kyler Carmack, and Austin Krider each managed multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs. Krider, Carmack, Love, and Morse each managed two hits to lead Paducah Chiefs.

Fulton Railroaders tallied 15 hits. Ryan Callahan, Jackson Shoulders, Parker Estes, and Carranza each collected multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders.
