Madisonville Miners Blows Away Franklin Duelers By Ten Runs

Madisonville Miners blew out Franklin Duelers 12-2 on Saturday.

Franklin Duelers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Jay Curtis grounded out, scoring one run.

Beau Coffman was credited with the victory for Madisonville Miners. The pitcher lasted seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs while striking out two.

Jacob Hernandez took the loss for Franklin Duelers. The hurler went two and a third innings, allowing six runs on eight hits.

Madisonville Miners launched five home runs on the day. Jackson Owen had a long ball in the first inning. Jake O'Connell put one out in the fourth inning. Jackson Lindsey went yard in the first inning. Parker Stroh had a dinger in the fifth inning. Eston Snider had a long ball in the seventh inning.

Madisonville Miners totaled 14 hits in the game. O'Connell, Owen, Snider, Lindsey, and Evan Liddie all collected multiple hits for Madisonville Miners. Owen and O'Connell each collected three hits to lead Madisonville Miners.

Bryce Cape went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Franklin Duelers in hits. Franklin Duelers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Rashard Grace had the most chances in the field with six.
