Fulton Railroaders Walks Away Victorious Over Franklin Duelers, 8-4

Fulton Railroaders scores more runs than Franklin Duelers, takes victory on Wednesday to the tune of 8-4

Franklin Duelers fired up the offense in the first inning. Mark Castle grounded out, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Garner Anderson grounded out, scoring one run, Jacob Cekander singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, and Ryan Callahan homered on a 0-2 count, scoring two runs.

Malik Pogue led the Fulton Railroaders to victory on the hill. The righty went four innings, allowing two runs on two hits, striking out six, and walking zero. Jake Wilson and Blake Loper entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Loper recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Fulton Railroaders.

James Dickson took the loss for Franklin Duelers. Dickson surrendered four runs on seven hits over three and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Fulton Railroaders socked two home runs on the day. Callahan went deep in the fourth inning. Parker Estes went yard in the fifth inning.

Fulton Railroaders tallied 12 hits on the day. Callahan, Estes, and Cekander each managed multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Callahan went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Fulton Railroaders in hits.
