Full Count Rhythm Defeats Hoptown Hoppers In High-Scoring Affair
Both Full Count Rhythm and Hoptown Hoppers had their offenses going on Tuesday, but Full Count Rhythm eventually prevailed 14-6.
Hoptown Hoppers got on the board in the first inning when Joshua Rodriguez doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
In the bottom of the third inning, Full Count Rhythm tied things up at five when Henry Jackson homered on a 2-1 count, scoring two runs.
Full Count Rhythm pulled away for good with three runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Jackson drew a walk, scoring one run and Jackson Cauthron singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.
Full Count Rhythm scored five runs in the seventh inning. Full Count Rhythm's big inning was driven by walks by Hayden Miller, Hudson Mimbs, and Levi Perrell and a double by Henry Mosley.
Spencer Wilkins got the win for Full Count Rhythm. The righty went six innings, allowing five runs on seven hits, striking out eight and walking one. Jalen Wirtz, Brycen Jewell, and Caleb Marks all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.
Jacob Dilday took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The pitcher surrendered three runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out two.

Full Count Rhythm tallied three home runs on the day. Miller went yard in the eighth inning. Mosley put one out in the third inning. Jackson had a four-bagger in the third inning.
Full Count Rhythm racked up 11 hits. Jackson and Mosley all managed multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm. Jackson led Full Count Rhythm with three hits in four at-bats. Full Count Rhythm was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Cauthron made the most plays with 13.
