Madisonville Miners scores more runs than Louisville Jockeys takes victory on Monday to the tune of 6-2

Madisonville Miners got things started in the second inning. Jake O'Connell hit a solo homer.

Madisonville Miners scored five runs in the seventh inning. Kobe Jones, Jackson Lindsey, Jackson Owen, and O'Connell all drove in runs in the frame.

Joe Peca earned the victory on the mound for Madisonville Miners. Peca lasted seven innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out six. Joel Connors and Justin Naylor entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Naylor recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Madisonville Miners.
