Hoptown Hoppers took the lead late in the game in a 5-3 victory over Full Count Rhythm on Sunday. Hoptown Hoppers trailed 3-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Luis Vergara-Schoonewolf doubled on a 1-0 count, scoring three runs.

Full Count Rhythm scored three runs in the third inning, but Hoptown Hoppers still managed to pull out the victory. Henry Mosley and Hudson Mimbs powered the big inning with RBIs.

Hoptown Hoppers fired up the offense in the first inning, when Vergara-Schoonewolf grounded out, scoring one run.

Garrett Blevins was the winning pitcher for Hoptown Hoppers. The righthander lasted one inning, allowing two hits and zero runs while walking zero. Aaron Moss threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Moss recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Hoptown Hoppers.

Cade Granzow took the loss for Full Count Rhythm. The right-hander allowed seven hits and four runs over six and two-thirds innings, striking out three and walking one.

Zach Duenas started the game for Hoptown Hoppers. The righty lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out three

Hoptown Hoppers racked up eight hits in the game. Drew Donaldson and Ren Tachioka all had multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Tachioka and Donaldson each managed two hits to lead Hoptown Hoppers. Hoptown Hoppers was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Joshua Rodriguez had the most chances in the field with nine.

Full Count Rhythm tallied 12 hits on the day. Mimbs, Ryan Miller, Mosley, and JJ Williams each had multiple hits for Full Count Rhythm. Mimbs went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Full Count Rhythm in hits. Full Count Rhythm didn't commit a single error in the field. Tyler Franks had ten chances in the field, the most on the team.
