Madisonville Miners Defeated By Owensboro RiverDawgs

Owensboro RiverDawgs opened up scoring in the first inning. Daalen Adderly hit a solo homer.

In the bottom of the second inning, Madisonville Miners tied things up at one. Parker Stroh drove in one when Stroh doubled.

Owensboro RiverDawgs pulled away for good with two runs in the third inning. In the third Cam Nichols homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Dereck McCarly led the Owensboro RiverDawgs to victory on the hill. The pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, allowing two runs on three hits and striking out four.

Jake O'Connell took the loss for Madisonville Miners. O'Connell lasted five innings, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out four.

Owensboro RiverDawgs socked three home runs on the day. Nichols went for the long ball in the third and fourth innings. Adderly had a dinger in the first inning.

Jackson Owen led Madisonville Miners with two hits in three at-bats.

Owensboro RiverDawgs racked up 12 hits on the day. Ethan Plyer, EJ Clark, Nichols, and Nick Williams each had multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Plyer went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs in hits. Owensboro RiverDawgs didn't commit a single error in the field. Daniel Lopez had seven chances in the field, the most on the team.
