Dubois County Bombers Drops Game To Muhlenberg County Stallions After Late Score

Friday's game against Muhlenberg County Stallions was a heartbreaker for Dubois County Bombers, as they lost the lead late in an 11-5 defeat. The game was tied at four with Muhlenberg County Stallions batting in the top of the seventh when Garrett Dennis homered on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs.

The Dubois County Bombers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing Muhlenberg County Stallions, giving up 11 runs.

Muhlenberg County Stallions fired up the offense in the second inning when Garrett Causey singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

Dubois County Bombers evened things up at four in the bottom of the second inning. Kasten Harvey drove in three when Harvey doubled.

Aaron Huibregtse led the Muhlenberg County Stallions to victory on the pitcher's mound. The righty allowed three hits and one run over four and two-thirds innings, striking out one. Griffin Tarter threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Eli Steimel took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. The lefty surrendered three runs on three hits over two innings, striking out two and walking one.

Manning Webb started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The lefty surrendered four runs on six hits over four innings, striking out two Ethan Bell started the game for Dubois County Bombers. The righty surrendered four runs on five hits over four innings, striking out five

Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied 11 hits. Dennis, Kail Hill, and Causey each had multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Sam Pinckert led Muhlenberg County Stallions with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with ten stolen bases.
