Dubois County Bombers Grabs Lead In Extra Innings For Victory Over Madisonville Miners

Dubois County Bombers took the lead late in the game in a 9-8 victory over Madisonville Miners on Wednesday. The game was tied at seven with Madisonville Miners batting in the top of the tenth when Austin Baal singled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Despite falling down by four runs in the sixth inning, Madisonville Miners tried to fight back. Madisonville Miners scored five runs in the failed comeback on a single by Jackson Owen in the seventh, a groundout by Kobe Jones in the eighth, a single by Luke Mitchell in the eighth, and a walk by Baal in the eighth, and a single by Baal in the tenth.

Dubois County Bombers opened up an early lead in the third inning when Connor Oxley drew a walk, scoring one run.
