Early Lead For Fulton Railroaders Seals Fate For Louisville Jockeys

Louisville Jockeys fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 4-1 loss to Fulton Railroaders on Wednesday. Fulton Railroaders scored on a single by Tennessee Carranza and a single by Aiden Cloud in the second inning.

Fulton Railroaders got things started in the second inning when Carranza singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Sam Cooper was the winning pitcher for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher lasted five innings, allowing one hit and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one. Blake Loper threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Loper recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Fulton Railroaders.

Jaden Siemer took the loss for Louisville Jockeys. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing seven hits and four runs while striking out five and walking one.

Louisville Jockeys socked one home run on the day. RJ Latkowski went for the long ball in the sixth inning.

Latkowski, Austin Taylor, and Jonah Wichman each managed one hit to lead Louisville Jockeys. Louisville Jockeys was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. David Byrne made the most plays with 12.

Fulton Railroaders tallied nine hits. Ryan Lee and Cloud each racked up multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders.
