Henderson Flash defeated Hoptown Hoppers 5-4 on Monday thanks to a walk-off single. The game was tied at four with Henderson Flash batting in the bottom of the ninth when Kyle LaVanchy singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Henderson Flash earned the victory despite allowing Hoptown Hoppers to score three runs in the seventh inning. William Spear, Alex Archuleta, and Joshua Rodriguez all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Henderson Flash evened things up at four in the bottom of the eighth inning when Chase Harlan threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Henderson Flash.

Nolan Patterson earned the victory on the hill for Henderson Flash. The southpaw surrendered zero runs on zero hits over one inning, striking out three and walking zero. Caid Sanders and Nick Coleman entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Harlan took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The pitcher surrendered two runs on three hits over one inning, walking one.

Luke Genier started the game for Hoptown Hoppers. The right-hander lasted five innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out six Zach Thomas started the game for Henderson Flash. The righty allowed four hits and one run over five innings, striking out three and walking one

Henderson Flash tallied seven hits. Grant Mangrum, Casey Sorg, and LaVanchy each had multiple hits for Henderson Flash. LaVanchy, Sorg, and Mangrum all had two hits to lead Henderson Flash.

Hoptown Hoppers racked up eight hits in the game. Spear and Anthony Zarlingo all managed multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Spear led Hoptown Hoppers with three hits in four at-bats.
