LaVanchy's Walk-Off Seals The Deal In Henderson Flash Victory Over Hoptown Hoppers
Henderson Flash defeated Hoptown Hoppers 5-4 on Monday thanks to a walk-off single. The game was tied at four with Henderson Flash batting in the bottom of the ninth when Kyle LaVanchy singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.
Henderson Flash earned the victory despite allowing Hoptown Hoppers to score three runs in the seventh inning. William Spear, Alex Archuleta, and Joshua Rodriguez all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.
Henderson Flash evened things up at four in the bottom of the eighth inning when Chase Harlan threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Henderson Flash.
