Fulton Railroaders lost the lead late in an 8-5 defeat to Muhlenberg County Stallions on Monday. Muhlenberg County Stallions was down 5-4 in the top of the ninth inning when Justin Massingale homered on a 3-2 count, scoring three runs.

Fulton Railroaders got things moving in the first inning. An error scored one run for Fulton Railroaders.

Fulton Railroaders put up three runs in the sixth inning. The offensive onslaught came from a single by Grant Davis and an error on a ball put in play by Braxton Baird.

Kail Hill was credited with the victory for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Hill lasted one inning, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out one and walking zero. Tim Gooden and Aaron Huibregtse entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

The right-hander lasted five innings, allowing four hits and one run while striking out five and walking one Sam Poindexter started the game for Fulton Railroaders. Poindexter allowed three hits and two runs over six innings, striking out five
