Henderson Flash fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 8-3 loss to Dubois County Bombers on Friday. Dubois County Bombers scored on a triple by Connor Oxley and a sacrifice fly by Chase Taylor in the second inning.

Dubois County Bombers got things moving in the second inning, when Oxley tripled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring three runs.

Tavien Tigg led the Dubois County Bombers to victory on the mound. The pitcher went three innings, allowing two runs on four hits, striking out two, and walking one. Ben Aird, #20, and Cory Anderson all put in work in relief out of the bullpen, steering their team towards the victory.

Blake Ciuffetelli took the loss for Henderson Flash. The lefthander allowed seven hits and five runs over five innings, striking out five and walking one.

Jeff Hoffman went 2-for-5 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits.

Dubois County Bombers tallied 12 hits on the day. Terrick Thompson, Josh Newton, and Xander Willis each managed multiple hits for Dubois County Bombers. Dubois County Bombers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Taylor made the most plays with 11.
