Henderson Flash Loses Lead Early In Defeat
Henderson Flash fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-8 loss to Muhlenberg County Stallions on Saturday. Muhlenberg County Stallions scored on a single by Brennon Williams in the first inning, a double by Mack Clark in the first inning, a home run by Garrett Causey in the first inning, and a home run by Camden Fisher in the second inning.
Despite the loss, Henderson Flash did collect ten hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Muhlenberg County Stallions had 11 hits on the way to victory.
Muhlenberg County Stallions got things moving in the first inning. Williams singled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.
Aaron Huibregtse was the winning pitcher for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The righty allowed four hits and three runs over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. CJ Johnson and Kail Hill entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Hill recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Muhlenberg County Stallions.
