Beale's Walk-Off Gives Owensboro RiverDawgs Victory Over Henderson Flash

It came down to the wire on Sunday, with Owensboro RiverDawgs taking victory on a dramatic walk-off single in the late innings that sealed their victory over Henderson Flash. Owensboro RiverDawgs trailed 8-7 in the bottom of the ninth inning when Myles Beale singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Both pitching staffs had their hands full, frequently dealing with runners on base. Owensboro RiverDawgs collected 11 hits and Henderson Flash had seven.

Henderson Flash fired up the offense in the first inning. An error scored one run for Henderson Flash.

Owensboro RiverDawgs hit two home runs on the day. Allgeyer went for the long ball in the second inning. Denten had a homer in the fourth inning.
