Early Lead For Henderson Flash Seals Fate For Madisonville Miners

Madisonville Miners watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in an 11-7 loss to Henderson Flash on Thursday. Henderson Flash scored on a single by Trevor Campbell, a stolen base by Ryan Dos Santos, a double by Jeff Hoffman, a single by Ben Berenda, and a double by Drew Dalton in the first inning.

Madisonville Miners collected 12 hits and Henderson Flash had 11 in the high-scoring affair.

Henderson Flash got on the board in the first inning. Campbell drove in one when Campbell singled.

Madisonville Miners scored three runs in the fifth inning. Madisonville Miners scored its runs on an RBI home run by Luke Mitchell.

Blake Ciuffetelli took the win for Henderson Flash. The lefty allowed eight hits and five runs over five innings, striking out three and walking zero. Matt Craven and Casey Sorg entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Joe Peca took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The lefthander went three innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits and striking out three.

Madisonville Miners tallied two home runs on the day. Mitchell had a dinger in the fifth inning. Ty Foree went yard in the fourth inning.

Madisonville Miners tallied 12 hits on the day. Jackson Lindsey, Cameron Dean, and Mitchell each had multiple hits for Madisonville Miners. Dean and Lindsey each collected three hits to lead Madisonville Miners.

Henderson Flash collected 11 hits on the day. Dos Santos and Grant Mangrum each racked up multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Dos Santos led Henderson Flash with three hits in five at-bats.
