Paducah Chiefs Holds Off Dubois County Bombers As 6-Run Deficit Is Nearly Erased
Paducah Chiefs built a six-run lead in the fifth inning and then held off Dubois County Bombers' charge for a 12-10 victory on Monday. Dubois County Bombers scored four runs in the failed comeback on a single by Josh Newton in the sixth, a single by Connor Oxley in the sixth, an error in the eighth, and a fielder's choice by Andrew Kightlinger in the eighth.
Bats blistered as Paducah Chiefs collected 13 hits and Dubois County Bombers tallied 12 in the high-scoring game.
