Five Full Count Rhythm Pitchers Rally Together In Shutout Victory Against Paducah Chiefs
Full Count Rhythm defeated Paducah Chiefs 10-0 on Thursday as five pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Jalen Wirtz induced a groundout from Brody Williams to finish off the game.
Full Count Rhythm scored three runs in the sixth inning. Full Count Rhythm scored its runs on an RBI double by Tyler Boyd.
One bright spot for Paducah Chiefs was a single by Grant Godwin in the second inning.
Nick James was the winning pitcher for Full Count Rhythm. James went four innings, allowing zero runs on two hits, striking out eight, and walking one. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Drew Robertson, Brady Chappell, Wirtz, and Jack Thompson all securing outs and ultimately the victory.
Matthew Wrinkle took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The lefthander allowed two hits and two runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one.
Full Count Rhythm hit one home run on the day. Ryan Miller went deep in the seventh inning.
