Dubois County Bombers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-0 loss to Henderson Flash on Sunday. Henderson Flash scored on a single by Ben Berenda and a walk by Payton Matthews in the second inning.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Henderson Flash pitchers struck out three, while Dubois County Bombers sat down four.

Henderson Flash opened up scoring in the second inning, when Berenda singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

One bright spot for Dubois County Bombers was a single by Grant Hotchkiss in the first inning.

J.D. Willis earned the win for Henderson Flash. The southpaw lasted five innings, allowing three hits and zero runs while striking out two and walking one. Trevor Campbell and Nick Rucker entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief. Rucker recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Henderson Flash.

Ben Aird took the loss for Dubois County Bombers. The righty lasted three innings, allowing three hits and two runs while striking out three.

Seth Benner, Hotchkiss, Xander Willis, Victor Alvarez Martinez, and Tucker Schank each managed one hit to lead Dubois County Bombers.

Kyle LaVanchy led Henderson Flash with two hits in four at-bats. Henderson Flash didn't commit a single error in the field. Zach Thomas had the most chances in the field with ten.
