Muhlenberg County Stallions watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 4-1 loss to Madisonville Miners on Friday. Madisonville Miners scored on a home run by Ryne Wallace and a single by Jackson Lindsey in the second inning.

In the second inning, Madisonville Miners got their offense started when Wallace hit a solo homer.

JP Fox got the win for Madisonville Miners. The righthander went two innings, allowing one run on one hit and striking out four. Will Kiesel threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Kiesel recorded the last nine outs to earn the save for Madisonville Miners.
