Owensboro RiverDawgs Can't Hold Up Against Henderson Flash

Thursday was a long day for Owensboro RiverDawgs, falling to Henderson Flash 11-3.

Henderson Flash pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Lincoln Hackim drew a walk, scoring one run and an error scored two runs for Henderson Flash.

Henderson Flash scored three runs in the ninth inning. Henderson Flash scored its runs on a home run by Payton Matthews.

Nick Coleman took the win for Henderson Flash. The lefthander went four innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out five and walking one. Caid Sanders and Brady Joyner entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Brayden Bush took the loss for Owensboro RiverDawgs. The hurler allowed four hits and three runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out eight.

Adam Weihe started the game for Henderson Flash. The righthander lasted two and two-thirds innings, allowing three hits and one run while striking out two

Owensboro RiverDawgs tallied seven hits in the game. EJ Clark and Logan Bland each racked up multiple hits for Owensboro RiverDawgs. Bland and Clark each managed two hits to lead Owensboro RiverDawgs.

Henderson Flash racked up 12 hits. Colton Evans, Kyle LaVanchy, and Matthews each had multiple hits for Henderson Flash. Evans went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Henderson Flash in hits. Henderson Flash stole nine bases during the game as three players stole more than one. LaVanchy led the way with three.
