It was a tough day on Saturday for Hoptown Hoppers, who lost 7-1 to Fulton Railroaders

Fulton Railroaders got things started in the first inning when Grant Davis doubled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run.

Hoptown Hoppers evened things up at one in the bottom of the first inning when Jojo Cruz singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with two runs in the fifth inning. In the fifth Patrick Music tripled on the first pitch of the at-bat, scoring one run.

Kaden Hill was the winning pitcher for Fulton Railroaders. The pitcher went three and two-thirds innings, allowing zero runs on two hits and striking out five. Bryan Pina threw one and one-third innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Colby Downard took the loss for Hoptown Hoppers. The lefthander allowed five hits and three runs over four and a third innings, striking out four.

Jordyn Naranjo started the game for Fulton Railroaders. The lefty surrendered one run on six hits over four innings, striking out one and walking zero

Hoptown Hoppers collected eight hits on the day. Noah Brown and Cruz each racked up multiple hits for Hoptown Hoppers. Brown went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Hoptown Hoppers in hits.

Fulton Railroaders tallied ten hits. Seth Gardner, Music, and Jarret Fowlkes each collected multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Gardner led Fulton Railroaders with three hits in four at-bats. Fulton Railroaders didn't commit a single error in the field. Davis had nine chances in the field, the most on the team.
