Fulton Railroaders stayed in it until the end, but Henderson Flash pulled away late in a 2-1 victory on Monday. The game was tied at one with Henderson Flash batting in the top of the fifth when Ryan Dos Santos doubled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Henderson Flash pitchers struck out nine, while Fulton Railroaders sat down six.

Gavin Braunecker took the win for Henderson Flash. The southpaw surrendered one run on seven hits over five innings, striking out seven. Blake Ciuffetelli threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.

Cole Matthaidess took the loss for Fulton Railroaders. Matthaidess allowed four hits and two runs over four innings, striking out three and walking zero.

Fulton Railroaders totaled nine hits. Parker Estes, Patrick Music, and Jarret Fowlkes each had multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Fowlkes, Music, and Estes each collected two hits to lead Fulton Railroaders.

Brandon Daniels led Henderson Flash with three hits in three at-bats. Henderson Flash was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Adam Dapkewicz made the most plays with nine.
