Muhlenberg County Stallions Clinches Lead In Seventh Inning For Victory Over Henderson Flash

Muhlenberg County Stallions took the lead late in the game in a 10-7 victory over Henderson Flash on Sunday. The game was tied at six with Muhlenberg County Stallions batting in the bottom of the seventh when Nick Lucido's sac fly scored one run for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Muhlenberg County Stallions earned the victory despite allowing Henderson Flash to score four runs in the sixth inning. Brandon DanielsRyan Dos Santos, and Nick Wimber each had RBIs in the frame.

Henderson Flash opened up scoring in the first inning. Henderson Flash scored two runs when Noah Nelson doubled.

In the bottom of the sixth inning, Muhlenberg County Stallions tied things up at six. Eli Burkhart's sac fly scored one run for Muhlenberg County Stallions.

Muhlenberg County Stallions put up three runs in the eighth inning. Kevin Sosa and Will Kempf each drove in runs during the inning.

Nathan McKissick got the win for Muhlenberg County Stallions. The right-hander allowed two hits and one run over three innings, striking out three and walking zero. Peyton Burton threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Dylan Beier took the loss for Henderson Flash. The pitcher surrendered one run on three hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking zero.

Isaac Rose started the game for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Rose surrendered five runs on five hits over five innings, striking out five Kobe Matsen started the game for Henderson Flash. The pitcher lasted three and third innings, allowing four hits and three runs while striking out two

Muhlenberg County Stallions tallied 12 hits in the game. Kempf, Lucido, Brandon Scheurer, and Zach Chowansky each managed multiple hits for Muhlenberg County Stallions. Chowansky, Scheurer, Lucido, and Kempf all had two hits to lead Muhlenberg County Stallions. Muhlenberg County Stallions stole eight bases during the game as three players stole more than one. Burkhart led the way with two.

Henderson Flash had eight hits in the game. Dos Santos, Cody Schultz, and Nelson each collected multiple hits for Henderson Flash.
