Dubois County Bombers took the lead late in the game in a 6-5 victory over Madisonville Miners on Saturday. The game was tied at four with Dubois County Bombers batting in the bottom of the seventh when Blayden McMahel singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Madisonville Miners scored four runs in the seventh inning, but Dubois County Bombers still managed to pull out the victory. The big inning for Madisonville Miners came thanks to singles by Evan Liddie and Joshua Keating, by JT Rice, and a double by Justin Ramirez.

Dubois County Bombers opened up scoring in the second inning, when Ben Wilcoxson doubled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run.

Brennan Murphy pitched Dubois County Bombers to victory. The righty surrendered one run on three hits over two innings, striking out two and walking zero. Max Manning threw one-third of an inning in relief out of the bullpen. Manning recorded the last out to earn the save for Dubois County Bombers.

Gavin Knust took the loss for Madisonville Miners. The lefty allowed two hits and one run over two-thirds of an inning, striking out two and walking zero.

Wyatt Griskey started the game for Madisonville Miners. The righty went six innings, allowing one run on three hits and striking out two Brayden Childress started the game for Dubois County Bombers. Childress surrendered four runs on seven hits over six and two-thirds innings, striking out three

Dubois County Bombers tallied one home run on the day. Tucker Schank had a dinger in the seventh inning.

Wilcoxson went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Dubois County Bombers in hits.

Madisonville Miners tallied ten hits in the game. Reed Latimer, Ramirez, and Liddie each collected multiple hits for Madisonville Miners.
