Franklin Duelers was victorious over Hoptown Hoppers, 7-5

Hoptown Hoppers fired up the offense in the first inning. Hoptown Hoppers scored one run when Nicholas (Nico) Montes doubled.

In the bottom of the third inning, Franklin Duelers tied things up at two when an error scored one run for Franklin Duelers.

Franklin Duelers pulled away for good with three runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Austin Ehren singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run, Carter Vrabel drew a walk, scoring one run, and Luis Perez singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.

Steven Hayden led things off on the hill for Franklin Duelers. Hayden lasted four innings, allowing eight hits and three runs while striking out five and walking one.

Colby Downard was on the pitcher's mound for Hoptown Hoppers. Downard lasted three and third innings, allowing nine hits and five runs while striking out six. Bracken Rice and Brandon (B.J.) Jessie entered the game as relief, throwing three innings and one and two-thirds innings respectively.

Franklin Duelers collected 12 hits. Braxton Meguiar, Ehren, Perez, and Alex Miller all managed multiple hits for Franklin Duelers. Ehren and Meguiar each managed three hits to lead Franklin Duelers. Franklin Duelers was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Lance Upright made the most plays with 14. Franklin Duelers stole six bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Miller led the way with three.
