Fulton Railroaders Takes Victory In High-Scoring Game Over Madisonville Miners, 12-9

Both offenses were strong in Fulton Railroaders 12-9 victory over Madisonville Miners.

After Madisonville Miners scored two runs in the top of the seventh, Fulton Railroaders answered with two of their own. Madisonville Miners scored when Reed Latimer doubled on a 0-1 count, scoring two runs. Fulton Railroaders then answered when Patrick Music singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run and Britt Netterville's sac fly scored one run for Fulton Railroaders.

Fulton Railroaders pulled away for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Alex Langford singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run and Jackson Case drew a walk, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders scored five runs in the fifth inning. Fulton Railroaders's big bats in the inning were led by a triple by Jacob Rochester, a single by Parker Estes, and a sac fly by Langford.

Madisonville Miners scored three runs in the ninth inning. Madisonville Miners scored its runs on a home run by Joshua Keating.

Cody Medley got the win for Fulton Railroaders. Medley went six innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out eight and walking one. Tristian Camp and Netterville entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief.

Wyatt Griskey took the loss for Madisonville Miners. Griskey allowed seven hits and five runs over four innings, striking out three.

Fulton Railroaders socked one home run on the day. Music had a four bagger in the sixth inning.

Fulton Railroaders tallied 12 hits. Rochester, Grant Davis, Estes, Music, and Jarret Fowlkes each collected multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Fowlkes, Music, Estes, Davis, and Rochester each collected two hits to lead Fulton Railroaders.

Madisonville Miners tallied 11 hits on the day. Keating, Brennen Hunt, Brennon Williams, and Latimer each racked up multiple hits for Madisonville Miners.
