Fulton Railroaders Claims Lead In Seventh Inning To Defeat Paducah Chiefs

Fulton Railroaders snatched the lead late in the game in a 14-8 victory over Paducah Chiefs on Friday. Fulton Railroaders was down 6-5 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Parker Estes doubled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

The base paths were crowded in this high-scoring game. Fulton Railroaders collected 12 hits and Paducah Chiefs had 13.

Fulton Railroaders opened up scoring in the first inning when Alex Langford singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Fulton Railroaders knotted the game up at five in the bottom of the fourth inning, when Patrick Music grounded out, scoring one run.

Paducah Chiefs scored three runs in the second inning. Sam FaganBrandon Bell, and Adam Brian each had RBIs in the big inning.

Yosnsell Diaz got the win for Fulton Railroaders. The righty went one inning, allowing five runs on four hits, striking out one, and walking one. A number of pitchers entered the game as relief, with Drew BellBryan PinaBode Gebbink, and Webster Walls all securing outs and ultimately the victory.

Mason Malone took the loss for Paducah Chiefs. The righty went five innings, allowing five runs on six hits and striking out five.

Fulton Railroaders socked two home runs on the day. Davis Crane went for the long ball in the fourth and eighth innings.

Fulton Railroaders racked up 12 hits on the day. Britt Netterville, Crane, Estes, and Seth Gardner each racked up multiple hits for Fulton Railroaders. Netterville led Fulton Railroaders with three hits in five at-bats. Fulton Railroaders tore up the base paths, as three players stole at least two bases. Jarret Fowlkes led the way with two.

Paducah Chiefs totaled 13 hits. Mikey Mylott, Brian, Brant Brown, and Brandon Hager all collected multiple hits for Paducah Chiefs.
